My character does not have hair, and all the faces are default, not the Total Character Makeover version. I am using Apachii Hair and ksHairdos lite. I have uninstalled and reinstalled all 3. Or they are incompatible and their.esp overrides Total Character Makeover.Ok thanks! I am using the LOOT organizer by the way, so I let that take care of everything.
Is there a way to manually install it without using NMM?. Slydfox wrote: Please fix the black faces. Enderal: The Shards Of OrderIf there's one Skyrim mod that best stands as an example of what is possible to achieve with a total overhaul, it would easily be Enderal. The mod presents an entirely new world with its own characters, lore, races, and history completely separate from The Elder Scrolls universe, even featuring all-new voice acting.Enderal takes place in the land of Vyn and serves as the sequel to the previous Oblivion total overhaul mod, Nehrim. Much like with the base Skyrim, you could easily sink 80 or more hours into Enderal, exploring every nook and cranny and finding all the various quests and characters. If you like the idea of an open-world RPG like Skyrim but aren't keen on the dumbed-down RPG elements or the story-lite approach, Enderal is frankly a better experience than the base game, with a more compelling story. Beyond Skyrim: BrumaThe massive Beyond Skyrim project seeks to add all the lands of Tamriel into the Skyrim experience.
Instead of only being able to explore within the borders of the game's namesake nation, this gigantic work-in-progress will eventually add in Morrowind, Elswyr, Atmora, Iliac Bay, and many other locations across the continent. That's sort of an Elder Scrolls fanatic's dream come true, although it still remains a dream for now. At the moment, most of these mods are still very much in-progress affairs, but Bruma is now fully available for download, letting your Skyrim character explore locations like Frostcrag Spire, Cloud Ruler Temple, and Frostfire Glade. The city of Bruma itself features a huge cast of additional characters with their own quests and voice acting, drastically expanding out the base game. What you get now is already pretty amazing, but when the entire set of mods is done, Beyond Skyrim is going to be jaw-dropping. VigilantBringing a whole lot of Darks Souls or Bloodborne influence into The Elder Scrolls, this mod adds in four new chapters, complete with new areas that play with the concept of the Vigilants of Stendarr standing against the forces of Oblivion. Each chapter builds on the last, pulling you in and constantly increasing in quality and length.
A little over halfway through, the Vigilant mod basically goes full throttle into horror, providing a very different experience than your standard Skyrim playthrough.Yes, there are also devastatingly hard bosses like you'd expect from a Dark Souls-styled mod, so get ready to rethink your character build after dying the first few (dozen?) times! Beyond ReachAlthough this mod isn't quite done yet, it is much farther along than other mods of its scale and can currently be downloaded and played.
You essentially get an unofficial DLC here, with a vast new area in the east of High Rock and a bunch of additional quests based heavily around exploration.New factions, voice acting, armor, weapons, and spells all await you in this gray land ravaged by pox and despair. Be on the lookout for this one to get even bigger and better in the coming months. Obviously, total conversion mods are an ambitious and time-consuming undertaking, so it shouldn't be much of a surprise that there are only a few that are feature-complete already. What did you think of our six best Skyrim total conversion picks here, and are there any others we missed that should get added?Beyond these finished mods, there are plenty more in development, like Skyblivion (exactly like it sounds, porting all of the quests and locations from Oblivion into Skyrim) or the Nordic-inspired Hoddminir total conversion project.
Others, like the horror-focused Virus mod, are currently under review and no longer up for download, but hopefully they will return soon.Still need more mods to change up your Skyrim experience? We've got plenty others well worth downloading, so you should take a look at these:. Featured ContributorTy splits his time between writing horror fiction and writing about video games. I used to get the gray skin bug too! It usually only happens with followers, not my main character. I honestly am not sure how to fix it permanently, but each time I see it happen, I go into console, select the gray faced character, and change his weight with setnpcweight 75 (or whatever number you want) and that fixes the skin color until the next time I restart the game. If your face models are showing corners, it probably has to do with your quality settings – make sure you have your settings as high as possible. If you’re getting overwrite prompts on nmm, it means your mod you’re trying to install is conflicting with another mod.
You’ll have to decide on a case by case basis if you want to overwrite or not.

The only other mods that I have installed that also changes NPCs is 'UNP Female Body Renewal - A female face and body replacer'. ApachiiHair is another mod I use, but I don't think that affects NPCs. Pretty sure it only affects the player itself. Any idea how I can possibly fix this?McBaal wrote: The most grey / dark face bugs result from ApachiiHair. Do not use the NPC overhauls. the uninstall / install routine Ponurymazepa recommended: i uninstalled all of the below mods and then re-installed them ( with NMM ) in the following order.1.0 apachii's hairs ( i use 1.5 and 1.6, both )2.0 TCM2.5 TCM Normal Vamp Faces3.0 UNP4.0 BJINS AIO ( with serana 1.5 ).and sorted with LOOT.fired up a new game to test it, used LAL to choose harkon's court aaand the same half of the vamps in the game have dark faces. Im a pretty dedicated in-game apachii-using vampire-hunter, lol.I do not have this issue with vampires. I also did not install the Normal Vamp Faces. What I would do if I were you, is completely removing all the listed mods, LOOT, making a new save, loading from it, checking if vamp faces are dark, then installing everything again without the vamp addon. At least that is what I would do.
I have no in depth knowledge why it happens. I merely followed the instructions from rominvictus and maybe was lucky.
Despite how long it's been out, Skyrim still enjoys a dedicated audience thanks to a thriving modding scene, as well as Bethesda's fair hand for designing an eminently replayable game. At this point though, it's safe to say that you've probably played a fair chunk of the game legitimately, and might fancy spicing up your next playthrough with a few overpowered abilities, or at least removing some of the duller elements altogether. For this reason, we've compiled a round-up of some of the most useful console commands you can use for the PC version of the game. To get started with any of these cheats, all you have to do is hit the tilde key (which looks like this ), then enter your cheat of choice. Leave the console window using the tilde button once more, and you'll see the change reflected in the game immediately.
Player console commandsHere are some of our favourite commands for granting your character godlike status, and unlimited funds - to name just a couple:addshout - Type the name of your desired Dragon Shout after this command to add it to your repertoire immediately.AdvSkill SKILL ID # - If you want to level up a particular skill, simply enter this command. SKILL ID is simply the name of the skill in question. After that, just add the number you wish to level it up by.player.advlevel - Keep entering this command repeatedly to advance your character one level each time, without having to do anything resembling actual effort.player.modav carryweight # - Enter this command to increase the amount of random crap you're able to stuff into your backpack.player.setav speedmult ### - The higher the number you use here, the faster your character will move throughout the world. Warning: max level is really, really fast.player.setcrimegold ### - Use this command to change your wanted level. At 000 you're clean as a whistle, while at 999 it's time to start legging it.player.setlevel ## - Change the number to whatever level you'd like your decidedly unheroic hero to be.psb - If you want to unlock every single spell in the game, just tap this command in.sexchange - This command will change the sex of your hero or heroine.showracemenu - Starting to regret some of the decisions you made during the character creation phase of the game? Use this command to revisit your starting choices.tgm - Activates god mode, making you completely invincible.tcl - Turns off clipping, allowing you to walk anywhere, in any direction, through any thing.tim - In immortal mode, you can still take damage but you can't actually be killed.rm - Use to activate and deactivate run mode.unlock - Make sure you've highlighted the chest, or door, or case that you want to unlock, then enter this simple command to open it.
World and environment console commandsThere are several commands that will help you muck about with the world itself. Here are some of the most useful:fov - Instead of messing around with. Ini files, you can use this console command to set your field of view on the fly.tai - If you enter this command, every AI character in the game will stop in their tracks. Run it again to get everyone back to business.tcai - If, on the other hand, you simply want to take the sting out of a fight, use this code to render every inhabitant of the game completely placid.tfc - Want to take to the skies and have a proper aerial view of Skyrim? Enter this code.tfow - Removes all fog of war elements from your local map.tm - Enter this into the console window to disable every menu element, making it easy to capture pristine screenshots.
Nexus Mods Total Character Makeover
Note that this also disables the console itself, so you'll have to re-enter the code blind in order to reactivate the UI.tmm - By adding 0 or 1 to the end of this command you'll be able to activate and deactivate every map marker in the game.tg - Toggles grass on and off when entered.tt - As above, but for trees.tws - Disables the appearance of water. Item console commandsEach item in Skyrim has a special code associated with it and you can find a comprehensive round-up of them at.
Total Character Makeover And Cbbe
Quest console commandsYou'll need to enter the quest ID for some of these commands. You can find all of these identifiers over atcaqs - This will wrap up every single stage of the main quest. Warning: this can be a little buggy and has the potential to make a real mess of your save.completequest QUEST ID - Finishes off the specified quest altogether. Hooray for no effort!kill - Simply highlight your victim and then tap this command in to have them crash to the floor.killall - When you need everyone around you to die fast, enter this genocidal console command to get the job done.movetoqt - Picked up a quest and can't be bothered to walk to your victim? Simply tap this command in to head to them instantly.player.sqs QUEST ID - Displays all of the stages of a given quest.resurrect - If you're feeling no small amount of remorse for your senseless killing, target the corpse and then enter this command to bring them back to life.setstage QUEST ID # - Advances a quest to a particular stage. Use this if you've bugged out somewhere and need a quick fix.
